An exciting option for professionals who can't — or don't want to — do a MLM business

Why you might consider MLM in a professional setting
While many healthcare professionals might balk at the idea of including MLM as part of their overall business, there are some good reasons to consider it, nonetheless.
First, being a member of a MLM company does not mean that you have to "work" the business. You can function more like a wholesale customer, if you wish (which is what I did my first several years with YL). And, with YL, you can not only purchase at wholesale, you can earn a Personal Rebate on your orders — kind of a super-wholesale.
Secondly, the YL products are so good, you'll not only want to use them yourself, you'll want to recommend them to your patients. You could refer your patients to an Independent Distributor; but, doing so would likely result in limited follow-through. Having the products on hand would significantly improve the likelihood that your patients would use the products.
With the Professional Membership, you can still have the products on hand, without being part of the MLM business; however, since your patients will love these products, they will want to share them with their family and friends. Being able to register with YL in your downline would make it easier for them to do this — and earn both of you some added income.
It's a win-win situation.
A number of people — especially healthcare professionals — may be very interested in selling Young Living's fine line of products; but have some misgivings about getting into a MLM company. Some states actually prohibit licensed healthcare professionals from participating in such marketing. If this is your situation, Young Living might have just the answer for you.
The Professional Membership:
A Professional Membership is a special account type from YL, for business entities that desire to purchase products for resale in their business or professional office setting.
With the Professional Membership, you do not participate in the Compensation Plan, but you can purchase products for resale at the following discounts:
- 24% discount on retail orders of $500-$999.99
- 27% discount off retail orders exceeding $999.99
There is no discount on orders that are less than $500.
To maintain an active Professional Member status, your business entity is required to order at least once per 12-month period.
Setting up a Professional Member account:
To set up your Professional Membership account, you must:
- Submit a copy of a verifiable business license, and
- Submit a W-9 form with the Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN),
along with your written request, to Young Living. These can be mailed or faxed to Young Living, along with your written request for membership. Just send to the Young Living corporate offices at:
