Lime oil is a wonderful member of the citrus family, sharing many of the properties of the other citrus oils.  It has a limonene content of 60-65%, making it an excellent antioxidant oil.

Used primarily in skin care products, lime oil is also helpful for supporting and strengthening the respiratory and immune systems.

About lime oil:

Citrus aurantifolia is native to South Asia, and is a member of the Asteraceae (Compositae) botanical family.

The oil is expressed from the lime peels.
