Cistus (also known as Labdanum) essential oil comes from a rose that has a soft, honey-like scent. 

Believed to be the biblical rose of Sharon, its fragrance is calming and uplifting, helpful for meditation or counseling.  It also has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties, and helps to stimulate the immune system.

Studied, in laboratory tests, for its effects on the regeneration of cells, it also helps to maintain healthy lung function.
