About cumin oil:

Cuminum cyminum is native to Egypt, and isa member of the Apiaceae (umbelliferae) botanical family.  Cumin seed is commonly kept on the dinner table in Egyptian households to flavor foods during mealtime.

 

Chemical constituents:

  • Monoterpenes (30-60%): pinene (13-22%), paracymene (3-9%), terpineine (12-32%).
