About frankincense oil:

Considered a holy anointing oil in the Middle East (cf. Exodus 30:34-38), frankincense has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years.  It was well-known during the time of Christ for its anointing and healing powers.

The ancient Egyptians used frankincense in rejuvenating facial masks.  Today, it is a valuable ingredient in skin care products for aging and dry skin.
