Lime oil is a wonderful member of the cirtus family, sharing many of the properties of the other citrus oils.  It has a limonene content of 60-65%, making it an excellent antioxidant oil.

Used primarily in skin care products, lime oil is also helpful for supporting and strengthening the respiratory and immune systems.

15 ml bottle.

About lime oil:

Citrus aurantifolia is native to South Asia, and is a member of the Asteraceae (Compositae) botanical family.

The oil is expressed from the lime peels, or may be steam distilled from the peels of Citrus medica var. acida.

 

Chemical constituents:

• Terpenes esters: lineol acetate (26-27%), limonene (60-65%).

 

Companion oils: Lemon, spearmint, mandarin and cypress.
