About myrrh oil:

Myrrh oil is an oil referenced throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.  It was one of the three gifts given to the Christ child (see Matthew 2:11).

Historically, myrrh oil was used for skin conditions, and to prepare bodies for burial.  The Arabian people used it for wrinkled, chapped and cracked skin.  Today, it is widely used in oral hygiene products.

A powerful antioxidant, myrrh oil scores 379,800 µTE/100 g on the ORAC antioxidant scale, and has many properties that make it supportive of immunity.

Myrrh oil is one of the richest sources of sesquiterpenes available.  Sesquiterpenes are a class of compounds that have direct effects on the hypothalamus, pituitary and amygdala, the seat of our emotions.  This makes myrrh oil a very quieting and balancing oil.

 

How to use: Apply topically on location or in a massage.  May be added to food or rice milk as a dietary supplement.
