Thyme (Thymus vulgaris, red thyme) Oil from Young Living Essential Oils
Powerful antioxidant protection, immune system support
Thyme oil has a spicy, warm, herbaceous aroma that is both powerful and penetrating. One of the most antiseptic of the essential oils, it contains large amounts of thymol, which has been studied for its effect on gingivitis and plaque-causing organisms in the mouth.
Thyme oil is supportive of the immune, respiratory, digestive, nervous and other systems of the body. It may also be beneficial for overcoming fatigue and exhaustion.
Also, as a dietary supplement, thyme oil is one of the strongest antioxidants known, with an ORAC score of 159,590 µTE/100 g (compared to Tahitian NONI, which scores 1,506 on the ORAC scale).
15 ml bottle.
About thyme oil:
Thyme oil has been known since ancient times as a medicinal herb.
I use it regularly, either alone or mixed with another essential oil single or aromatherapy blend. It has an earthy, mildly pungent, warm and soothing herbal fragrance, and I find that I just feel better when I make it a regular part of my daily routine.
How to use: Apply topically, mixed with V-6™ Mixing Oil. Add to food or rice milk as a dietary supplement or flavoring. Use as part of the RainDrop Technique.
