Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) Oil from Young Living Essential Oils
Cooling, soothing comfort with methyl salicylate
Wintergreen oil has a sweet, cool, minty scent that leaves you with a refreshingly warmed feeling. It is beneficial for massage, especially for soothing head tension and muscles after exercise. It also works well for muscle or joint discomfort.
15 ml bottle.
About wintergreen oil:
Wintergreen oil is one of my favorite oils. I use it almost every day. It contains the same active ingredient (methyl salicylate) as birch.
I like to use wintergreen oil, mixing it with Aroma Siez™ — something that seems to enhance the effectiveness of both oils — and applying it to the Vita-Flex points on my feet.
How to use: It is safest to use wintergreen oil after diluting with V-6™ Mixing Oil, but it may be applied neat (i.e.: undiluted) to the bottoms of the feet. For a soothing bath, add three-to-five drops to ½ oz Bath & Shower Gel Base, and pour in bath water for a soothing aromatherapy experience.
Used in the RainDrop Technique.
