About the Thieves® oil blend:
During the 15th-century Black Plague, there was a band of four thieves in Marseilles, France who used aromatic oils, including cloves and rosemary, to protect themselves from infection as they robbed Plague victims.
When captured, these ingenious — though morally deprived — criminals were forced to divulge the secret to their immunity to the general public. Their secret formula was posted for everyone to see, and helped bring an end to the death in that city.
The Thieves® blend was tested at Weber State University (Ogden, Utah) and found to have up to a 99.96% kill rate against airborne bacteria. And so, all of these products are highly antiviral, antiseptic and antibacterial.
