The background of these note cards and posters
I've been a Christian since childhood. That faith has always shaped the quality and character of my life. And, because I believe that Jesus Christ is the only name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), I have always had a desire to share Him with others, and to help my brothers and sisters in Christ to grow up into "the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:13).
Toward that end, at one time, I engaged in a rather rigorous correspondence with people that I knew. To help with that, I drew a note card — a pen & ink drawing with Bible verse calligraphy — and had it printed up. My intent was to bring a graphic challenge to our faith to go with my words of exhortation inside. The response I received from that encouraged me to do some other drawings: some for note cards, some for posters. And so, over the next few years, the art that I'm offering here came into being.
